Industrail Design to Fine Arts

The Early Years

Since he was little, Fred has been an artist. He took first place in the school badge art competition in middle school. Even mid-semester in college, he received an A+ in a design class before the semester ended.

Early on, Fred’s college guidance counselor saw his natural artistic talent and spatial aptitude and pushed him to pursue a career in industrial design. Fred followed through on this advise and obtained a degree in industrial design, paving the way for a prosperous career in the industry.

Return to Traditional Art

Fred went back to his initial passion, fine art, after working as an industrial designer for more than 20 years. Although he is skilled in various mediums, his current favorites are oil and acrylic painting. In addition to religious themes and settings, Fred’s artwork mostly focuses on Southern Californian maritime vistas and figuratives.

Sharing His Passion

Fred enjoys teaching others art techniques in addition to creating paintings. He has assisted others in expanding their artistic knowledge and abilities by instructing a number of painting classes. Rather than merely adopting his own style, Fred enjoys teaching, motivating, and encouraging pupils to explore their creativity and create their own unique ideas.

He believes that creativity has no boundaries. He considers that the challenge is in helping his students develop an unrestricted, creative mindset.
