This temple is rich in history, and I’ve attempted to capture the colonial vibe by retaining the details in light and shadows. Also, Old Glory adds to this historical significance, and think this piece should be titled something like “Old Temple Glory” or something like that.

Old Temple Glory in Evening Light
This beautiful temple in its evening light is bright and beautiful on its own. I love this humble temple visible from I-15. Striking in the twilight spotlights stands out as a beacon. I painted this to accentuate the beacon-ness of the scene. Clearly the St. George Temple doesn’t need any artistic enhancement. This painting was a joy to create since this temple is already great looking as a photograph.
